a adquirir.

We have
less than two weeks left in this country and less than one at the Orphan. We
didn’t speak about this before in the blog, but we weren’t welcome at all for
the priest that is with the children the rest of the year. Fortunately, he
provide to the children food shelter and medication for their diseases, most of
them HIV. The thing is that in this orphan there are a lot of resources and
funds, but they are not properly distributed at all.
Attention,
education and above all affection are what we are seeing that these children
need. While, this priest is living a dream in which his sons have all that and
much more.
We don’t
conform believing that, because during the year, the children are practically
alone. During these days, we are trying to give them everything that it is
between our hands related with knowledge and love.
Every
morning, after bathing them and give them their breakfast, with the youngest,
we work the psychomotor in a classroom full of tools to work it. Much to our
regret this classroom it’s not used during the year. As we said there are a lot
of resources at the orphanage, the thing is that they are not used.
To the oldest,
some others of us teach them, from mathematics to morphosyntax through literacy.
Unfortunately with all that, they are quite far from almost every Spanish child.
Our
presence here must be to create them a habit for autonomy and we believe that
it is being like that. Like that, when we are not here, they could do much more
than they used to do by their own. Like when our parents left us alone at home
and taught us how to cook beans in the pressure cooker. We hope that in a few
months, when we won’t be here, these children will know how to cook their own
beans in the pressure cooker that suppose a habit for reading, English, sums,
subtractions or any other knowledge to get.
