Lechecolada; Lechecolada es la marca de leche en polvo que desayunabamos cada mañana, así hemos llamado humildemente a este "libro" que ya hemos terminado, esta experiencia que hemos vivido y nos ha marcado.

Hoy 15 de septiembre de 2012 nos reunimos la mayoría de nosotros, más de dos semanas después de abandonar tierras ecuatorianas, para celebrar el cumpleaños de Bea, dejando sitio a la nostalgia y a los mejores recuerdos.

No sabemos si será el aire de aquellas tierras latinas, o la cantidad ingente de arroz que hemos podido llegar a tomar, pero probablemente, no estaríamos aquí hoy, todos juntos, si no nos hubiéramos complementado tan bien. Claramente, muchas cosas, las podíamos haber hecho mejor, sin duda; pero si no hubiéramos formado este metafórico puzle que aun sigue montado no hubiéramos podido sostener toda esta experiencia que quién nos pregunta, la define de antemano como dura. Nosotros no nos importa corregirles y decirles que la experiencia no ha sido dura sino bonita.

Levantarte a las 7 de la mañana para bañar a Chino y que te pida que le cojas en brazos, “pelear” con las más mayores para que aparezcan por clase, ver lo multiétnico que puede llegar a ser un país o que Sebas te cuente con sus caricias lo contento que está de verte. Todas estas gotas han hecho llenar nuestro vaso, que ha supuesto esta gran experiencia.

Agradecemos también a Coopera el brindarnos esta oportunidad, especialmente a nuestra “madre” durante mes y medio Amparo y a David y les deseamos lo mejor a Francisco, Juan Carlos, Lesley, Chino, Joel, Sebas, David, Alex, Andreina, Sayeli, Diana, Sandy, Genesis, Julian, Ari, Nayeli y Jackson.

Lechecolada; Lechecolada is the brand of powdered milk that we had for breakfast every morning and so we have humbly named this “book” that we have finished and this experience that we lived that we will never forget.

Today, 15 September 2012, the majority of us are all meeting - more than two weeks after leaving Ecuadorian lands - to celebrate Bea´s birthday, leaving behind all the nostalgia and the best memories.

We don´t know if it is the air of these Latin lands, or the huge quantity of rice that we ate, but we probably would not be here today – all together – if we didn´t all complement each other so well. Obviously, we could have done many things better, without doubt. But had we not formed this metaphorical puzzle that continues to be put together, we would not have been able to sustain all this experience. Whoever asks us about our experience, defines it as difficult before we can answer their question. However, we don´t mind correcting them and telling them that the experience was not difficult, but beautiful. 

Waking up at 7 in the morning to bathe Chino and have him ask you to lift him up into your arms, “fight” with the oldest girls just so they will come to class, see the multi-ethnicity that a country can have or have Sebas tell you with his touch how happy he is to see you. All of these drops helped to fill our glass, and have completed our experience.

Also, we wish to thank Coopera for giving us this opportunity. Especially, we thank our “mother” for the month and a half, Amparo and also David. We wish the very best to Francisco, Juan Carlos, Lesley, Chino, Joel, Sebas, David, Alex, Andreina, Sayeli, Diana, Sandy, Genesis, Julian, Ari, Nayeli y Jackson.
